Why You Should Spay or Neuter Your Pets

Pet spaying or neutering benefits you by:

·         Helping your family dog or cat live a longer, healthier life

·         Making your pet a better, more affectionate companion

·         Making your pet less likely to bite or have personality problems

·         Making your pet less likely to spray or mark territory

·         Getting rid of the messy heat cycles of your female pet

And not only are there multiple benefits to spaying/neutering for both you and your pet, but we know that spay/neuter is the key to ending animal overpopulation.  Every year, millions of unwanted dogs and cats are tragically euthanized due to overpopulation in the United States.  Please do your part and always have your pets spayed/neutered to prevent accidental litters.

If you need help affording spay/neuter services, please call about LHS’s Spay’sTheWay program at (859) 233-0044 Ext. 228.
